Shivani was remarkable. She worked each day tirelessly and provided so much inspiration. A startup, as we were, proved to be difficult. But not to Shivani! She could pin-point our weaknesses and come up with a solution. She provided insights that we never had before that allowed our business to grow. In my work as a Strategic Marketing Director with a pharmaceutical company, I was seeking to take the skills I had acquired and move into consulting. I wasn’t sure if or how I would do this in the pharmaceutical industry and/or offer these across industries. I was also challenged with time management.

In working with Shivani as my coach – I found a strategic thinking partner that helped me gain clarity on my goals, heightened awareness on my opportunities and alignment of these with my values. Shivani has many skills that make her a great coach, however, there are some that continue to impress me and I have found extremely valuable in our process. She has amazing listening skills. Yes, she listens to what I say but what is more amazing is how she tunes in to the things that I don’t say but are there. She is also great in helping me summarize and make sense of all the random thoughts I have. She has a great intuition about what the key issues are and that, combined with her ability to be present and listening deeply make her a very powerful coach. I’m lucky to have her as my coach.

I was always fearful about driving and always tried to avoid the learning process. But no matter where you live being scared to driving can really conflict with your freedom. Unless we’re lucky enough to live in a city with great public transportation, driving is necessary for basic freedom and independence.

Everything changed one day, when I started 6-week Positive Intelligence program, where my friend Shivani Bhasin, who is an executive coach and leadership adviser. Shivani clearly mentioned it is a transformative program. I have worked each week closely with Shivani and realized how PQ principles can transform human thought process. Very soon I started to realize fear is a story in our mind, that we think may happen, with no clear evidence. I started to use visualization process, prepared and passed the exam within a month. Finally, I was able to fully conquer the driving fear.

Shivani makes an excellent coach and a trainer. She is a very patient person and has the ability to grasp a problem, conduct a detailed situational analysis and put across the subject matter in such a convincing way that the audience can easily relate to the material in the discussion. Her training session on “Effective Communication at the Workplace” was well-received by our “Women In Technology” group. The entire audience enjoyed the session and were intrigued by her deep-dive on the topic. She gave us an excellent framework that we could use for resolving communication conflicts.

Shivani’s regular support over the course of a year as I worked as a senior researcher at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative was invaluable. She helped me prioritize how to best focus our time each session, and consistently offered immediate and tangible suggestions that helped me navigate complex, high pressure, time sensitive situations extremely effectively. I strongly believe that my performance would not have been as impactful without her as my coach.

I especially appreciate how well Shivani listens and asks questions to help me unlock new solutions. She also went above and beyond to follow-up and check in on how things were going between our sessions, and even offered additional support outside of our scheduled times. I am lucky to have her in my corner.

Working with Shivani as a coach has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made in my career. Shivani’s greatest strength is in how perceptive she is across our multiple conversations, drawing on deep knowledge of you as an individual and illuminating patterns that you may not see yourself.

During our sessions, Shivani is actively working on understanding me holistically as an individual and helping me both explore many different ideas and possibilities in one session as well as guiding me to converge on the next most optimal steps. She is an excellent communicator and is truly invested in your transformation, always bringing in ideas, helpful frameworks, or anecdotes that make you feel like she both grasps your struggle but also reframes it in a positive and productive way.

Shivani was my coach for six months and instrumental in providing me with tools to reduce my stress levels permanently, not only during the duration of her coaching me. Her approach included not only insights into what was happening to me, but also methodical exercises that left me with a lasting effect to this date. The concept of saboteurs and sage made me aware of my inner states, and the daily exercises and frequent rest periods allowed me to change my life in such a way that I reduced my work hours from greater than 12 hrs/day to 8 to 9 hours a day without compromising on my effectiveness or output at work. Relationships around me became stronger and my own confidence level is now higher than ever before. Shivani has the ability to listen, remember, and guide in a non-judgemental, positive, and encouraging fashion. Shivani’s style of coaching is incredibly supportive, comfortable, and a true partnership in the conversation. Shivani and I worked together at GMI for several years during a crucial time in the company’s history. The company was emerging from its start-up phase and beginning to scale with revenue doubling every year for 5 years in a row. The environment was mildly controlled chaos with all energy focused on growth and market share. Shivani managed hundreds of market research projects and effectively dealt with over a hundred outside clients who ranged from CEOs to project managers. Shivani has great listening skills, she gives you plenty of space to come to your own conclusions and is extremely supportive and encouraging at the same time. Shivani is a very competent and effective coach. In just a short time, she was able to help me find the laser focus I needed to pursue the best path for me in my career. When I first met Shivani, I was struggling in work life and in personal life. I was feeling a range of emotions from day to day…frustration, sadness, anger. Shivani worked with me as an executive coach to help me transition to a new role as a manager of a team, and move to the next level.
